Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders, utilizing advanced techniques and equipment.
  • Collect and analyze sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Measure lung capacity to identify impairments and develop targeted interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong understanding of respiratory health principles and practices.
