Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Home Health

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes. As an Occupational Therapist with AMN Healthcare Allied, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, with a focus on helping them achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, including exercises, activities, and education to promote physical and emotional health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services as needed.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as required.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Current licensure and good standing in the state of Colorado.
  • Previous experience in home care and occupational therapy preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
