In this pivotal role, you will spearhead security assessments, oversee code evaluations, and enhance cloud infrastructures that bolster security initiatives. Your responsibilities may include developing code/scripts and establishing detection frameworks.

As a Lead Cloud Security Architect, your influence will extend beyond your immediate team, shaping the business and technological trajectory of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver security engineering solutions and support during client-facing interactions, proactively mitigating risks while addressing customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with and mentor Information Security engineers to elevate security standards, swiftly address risks, and foster a culture of DevOps.
  • Translate intricate functional and technical specifications into comprehensive architecture and design.

This hands-on position encompasses a variety of daily tasks, including:

  • Coordinating logistics for security evaluations.
  • Conducting threat modeling.
  • Configuring software and hardware testing environments.
  • Guiding and supervising internal and external testing personnel.
  • Resolving complex technical inquiries related to cryptography, access controls, and threat mitigation strategies.

To excel in this position, you will be expected to deliver timely results that exceed customer expectations while motivating your team to innovate and think expansively about their contributions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in system, network, and/or application security.
  • 5+ years of programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Rust, or Ruby.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying complex and high-performance software solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of tailoring messages for executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.
  • Thorough understanding of software development and deployment practices, including feature branch management, continuous integration, and software observability.
  • Experience with secure application development, including static and dynamic application security testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and security operations.
  • Understanding of system interfaces such as gRPC, REST, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of database replication and principles of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Failover.
