Responsibilities:
As a Pediatric ICU Nurse at Geisinger, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to unit-based decision-making. Your duties may include:
- Conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote patient recovery.
- Collaborating with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address patient needs.
- Participating in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and sharing best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Mentoring new staff members and students in a positive, professional manner.
Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a current LPN license and basic life support certification. Prior PICU or inpatient pediatrics experience is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing their nursing practice.
