Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Chief of Parties to join our team at Michael Baker International. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work plans, coordinating field crews and resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Manage client field work requests, maintaining accurate budgets and tracking progress.
  • Prepare construction calculations and verification reports, utilizing expertise in reading plans and surveying principles.
  • Organize and coordinate projects, applying knowledge of surveying and mapping techniques, and utilizing various databases to process field data.
  • Collaborate with field crew staff to create workflows using Trimble Business Center and Trimble Access.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in all phases of surveying, with a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification.
  • A Professional Land Surveyor license (PLS) in California is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D, with working knowledge of Trimble Business Center, StarNet, MicroStation, and Inroads.
