Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with experience in treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to provide efficient and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Treat critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma
- Perform minor medical operations
- Clean wounds
- Draw blood
- Maintain emergency room care standards
- Assist with insurance paperwork
- Ensure the efficiency of the patient check-in process
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Two + years of emergency room and telemetry experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school, associate's or Bachelor of Science degree program; BSN preferred
- Licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts as a registered nurse
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential
