Key Responsibilities
  • Implement state learning standards and district curriculum and assessments to meet rigorous academic expectations as part of the instructional team.
  • Master and deliver content and grade-level curriculum, core content objectives, and texts.
  • Create and submit weekly lesson plans that align with district expectations.
  • Implement formal and informal assessments to track scholar progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
  • Utilize technology as a communication and educational tool to improve scholar achievement and manage work-related tasks.
  • Implement a clear and consistent behavior management system that aligns with restorative practices and a zero suspension policy.
  • Participate in regular manager check-ins, grade-level meetings, before and after-school duties, and school-wide meetings and functions.
  • Attend summer and year-long district, school, and personal development training.

Our ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree and demonstrates competency in the assigned subject area. Previous experience working with second language learners and scholars from diverse backgrounds is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a base medical plan, dental and vision plans, disability insurance, life insurance, parental leave, subsidized childcare, paid time off, referral bonuses, professional development opportunities, and a 403(b) plan. Teachers may be eligible for additional stipends for certifications, serving as mentor teachers, or running extracurricular activities.
