Psychologist for Family Medicine Residency

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our Family Medicine Residency Program as a core faculty member. The successful candidate will provide behavioral health care primarily in the outpatient setting and assist with the education of Family Medicine residents and medical students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic psychological counseling to patients.
- Assess patients' psychological status and provide appropriate interventions and treatments.
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary services to provide psychological therapy for patients.
- Refer patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluations as indicated.
- Provide psychological expertise and education to the multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate complex and sensitive information to patients and the medical team.
- Administer and interpret psychological tests used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders.
- Licensure: Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
- Education: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.
- PhD Required.
