Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will provide nursing care to patients as assigned, administer and record medications and treatments, and reinforce supports and provide health care instructions to patients and their families.
The LPN will also participate with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities, and assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients as assigned
- Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned
- Reinforce supports and provide health care instructions to patients and their families
- Participate with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
- Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)
- Record on patient charts observation of patient's responses to nursing care rendered
- Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned
- Current and Valid LPN license
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
- Physical strength and stamina
- First aid and CPR certifications
