Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a Christian environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
  • Assist residents with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
