The Camden City School District is seeking a skilled Trash Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for operating trash and recycling vehicles, expediting work orders, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Operate trash and recycling vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Expedite all work orders assigned by the Facilities Manager, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
- Keep accurate records of all projects, including accounting records, in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promoting a safe and environmentally responsible work environment
- Be available to support projects and initiatives in other departments as needed
- Four (4) years' experience in the mechanics/maintenance craft
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License and Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Black Seal License or ability to obtain within two (2) years of employment
- Knowledge of basic regulations governing safety in the mechanics/maintenance craft
- Ability to perform tasks that require frequent heavy lifting
