We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Forbes Hospital. As a member of our 5N Med Surg Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic, stroke, and trauma conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, assessing and evaluating the health status of individuals and families, and developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care and health services, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and satisfaction.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff, and provide feedback and coaching to promote professional growth and development.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and develop clinical and professional skills, and promote the advancement of the nursing profession.
- Meet time and attendance guidelines, and continuously evaluate and assess patient and family satisfaction.
- Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Certification in area of specialty.
