Job Overview

As a Survey Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors in the field, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection, and providing expert guidance on surveying procedures and road construction layout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of surveyors in the field, providing guidance and oversight on surveying procedures and road construction layout.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data collection, utilizing knowledge of surveying procedures and data collection best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving surveying operations and crew performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of surveying services with construction projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve surveying operations and crew performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on road and civil construction.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in land surveying procedures and data collection best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.
