Travel Nurse Operating Room Position

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Westerville, Ohio.
Job SummaryAs an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Your duties will include preparing patients for surgery, handling and preparing operating instruments and equipment, monitoring patient status, and assisting surgeries as needed.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for surgery, including administering medications and conducting pre-operative assessments
- Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and maintenance
- Monitor patient status during surgery, responding to any changes or complications
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, as needed
To be considered for this Operating Room Nurse travel job, you must have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in a specialty OR setting. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
