Flavor Operator

We are seeking a skilled Flavor Operator to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our seasoning coverage systems.

• Monitor and replenish seasoning and/or toppings on overhead to ensure proper seasoning coverage on product.
• Properly plan ahead for product/seasoning changeovers to efficiently change from one product item to another.
• Keep tumblers/scales and work areas clean, wipes equipment down in accordance to the allergen program.
• Prepare tumblers/machines for re-work of product.
• Immediately report any equipment problems to the maintenance team.
• Operate machinery if necessary.
• Practice and adhere to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
• Store supplies in designated areas.
• Keep work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstruction; remove trash from work area floor.
• Follow instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes and weights; identify/report issues with equipment; report all job-related injuries to supervision.
• Work with QA to ensure product is in specification.
• Participate in sensory testing.

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Lighting is good, temperature is fair, ventilation is good, vibration is good, and noise is good. Other conditions are good.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
