Oldcastle Infrastructure, a leading provider of utility infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee daily QC functions at its Buda Precast Facility. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Engineering Manager and be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in precast concrete production.
Key Responsibilities- Process Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Final Product Inspections: Perform thorough inspections of final products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Corrective Action Reports: Prepare and submit reports on non-conforming products and quality defects.
- Quality Improvement Initiatives: Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and work alongside 1-2 quality control technicians to ensure effective quality control processes.
- Experience: Previous experience in precast concrete as an inspector and managing a team or quality control technicians.
- Education: 2-Year Technical College or Degree or equivalent hands-on building materials experience.
- Certifications: Texas DOT certified or ability to obtain within 3 months, ACI Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months, NPCA Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, use computer programs including Microsoft Office Products, excellent organization and communication skills, self-motivated and strong ability to take initiative.
