Position Overview

The Class B Truck Operator will be responsible for transporting materials to and from customer locations, which includes loading and unloading tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials across North America.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations set forth by local, state, federal, and company guidelines.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch through various channels.
  • Report any issues related to shipments, including delays, violations, or accidents.
  • Notify fleet maintenance of any equipment concerns.
  • Participate in annual HAZWOPER refresher training.
  • Attend all scheduled safety meetings.
  • Follow safety procedures during loading and unloading processes.
  • Keep vehicles and equipment in optimal condition.
  • Track expenses related to fuel, supplies, and maintenance.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and labeling as needed.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
  • Be prepared for occasional overnight travel.
  • Work primarily Monday through Friday with potential for overtime.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for all shipments.
  • Support warehouse operations when required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

To be considered for a position at Clean Earth Holdings, candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If you have a medical or religious exemption, we have a process in place to evaluate accommodation requests.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Class B or A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
  • Minimum of two years of verified driving experience.
  • Completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of a truck driving educational program.
  • Experience driving in adverse weather conditions.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in hazardous waste transportation is a plus.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
