Position Overview:


Execute daily assigned routes, load, transport, and deliver refined fuel products from storage facilities to various retail and commercial locations.

Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed while strictly following company policies, as well as state, local, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities:
Safely load fuel at designated terminals
Deliver fuel to company retail locations
Verify that the correct product is delivered to the assigned location
Adhere to all company and DOT regulations regarding the handling of hazardous materials
Comply with all federal and state driving laws to maintain safety on the roads
Maintain daily logs of service hours to ensure DOT compliance
Report any mechanical or equipment issues immediately
Maintain a professional appearance by wearing clean uniforms
Keep vehicles clean and organized both inside and out
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Working Relationships:


Collaborate with internal teams such as Retail Store Staff, Logistics, and Fleet Departments, as well as engage with external customers including motorists.


Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of three years of general tractor-trailer driving experience
Preferred: Three years of experience in petroleum transportation

Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Class A commercial driver's license with Hazmat and Tank endorsements, along with a TWIC Card

Essential Skills:


Exhibit a professional demeanor in appearance and conduct towards both internal and external customers while loading, driving, and delivering products.


Work Schedule:


Work consists of four (4) ten (10) hour shifts per week, with potential for overtime (including call-outs and extended shifts). Only one weekend day is required for work.


Driving Requirements:
Must possess a valid commercial driver's license with Hazmat endorsement and maintain a clean driving record.

Additional Requirements:
A satisfactory record from the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse is mandatory as per FMCSA regulations.

Travel Expectations:
This role involves 100% travel for the delivery of fuel products to various locations.

Physical Requirements:
Must meet qualifications to pass the DOT physical examination. Responsibilities include standing, bending, walking, and lifting during loading and unloading processes, as well as occasional climbing of ladders and steps when entering and exiting vehicles.

The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and exert lateral force of approximately 40-50 lbs multiple times daily is required. Proficiency in using various tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and fuel hose drainers is also necessary.
