Clinical Nurse Specialist

About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing infusion therapy. This involves conducting thorough assessments, inserting and maintaining IV lines, and administering chemotherapy medications according to physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients before, during, and after infusion therapy
- Inserting, maintaining, and monitoring intravenous (IV) lines for patients receiving infusion therapy
- Administering chemotherapy medications and other infusion therapies according to physician orders and established protocols
- Providing comprehensive education to patients and their families about their infusion therapy
- Assessing and managing symptoms and side effects experienced by patients undergoing infusion therapy
Requirements:
- Current Minnesota RN license
- At least 2 years oncology experience
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
- At least 1 year Chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration experience
