Care for Others as a Housekeeper & Cook

As a Housekeeper & Cook, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission by providing exceptional care and services to individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate menus and prepare food for individuals receiving our services
• Maintain the cleanliness of our facility, including common areas, rooms, hallways, restrooms, windows, woodwork, light fixtures, and other work areas
• Follow universal precautions and procedures regarding cleaners, hazardous materials, and infection control
• Disinfect equipment and supplies

Requirements:

• Active food handlers certificate
• Valid CA Drivers License
• Six months of related experience in a Healthcare facility setting
• Acute attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships with patients, their family members, and coworkers
• Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player
• Strong culinary knowledge and a commitment to excellent customer service
• CPR/BLS encouraged
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
