**Job Description:** As an Aerospace Rescue Specialist at Lockheed Martin Corporation, you will be responsible for structural and aircraft rescue firefighting, hazardous material response, confined space rescue, entering IDLH atmospheres, providing emergency medical treatment, participate in fire prevention programs, continuous improvement processes, complete written inspection reports, fire extinguisher inspections, testing and minor maintenance of fire alarms and related equipment, inspecting, testing, and operating fire department vehicles and rescue boats, receive and dispatch alarms, routine station cleaning assignments, and other duties as assigned.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:** Connecticut State Certified Firefighter II, Connecticut State Certified EMT, Class Q or a Class "B" CDL with a "Tanker" endorsement. Applicants are required to pass a comprehensive medical exam that includes a treadmill-stress test and successfully pass the Airport Firefighter Certification program prior to permanent appointment.
