We are looking for a highly skilled physician to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a gastroenterology specialist, you will play a vital role in providing medical services for patients with digestive system disorders.

Our team includes experienced gastroenterologists who specialize in diagnosing and treating a range of conditions, including:

  • Barrett's Esophagus
  • Colon, pancreatic, and stomach cancers
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
  • Inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background, with a medical degree, completion of residency training in Internal Medicine, and Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. A Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one is also required.

We offer a supportive work environment, with a 1:5 call schedule and opportunities to work at our endoscopy center. ERCP training is preferred but not required. Our comprehensive benefits package includes malpractice insurance with tail coverage, CME opportunities, and loan repayment/forgiveness counseling. We also support J1 waiver and H1B visa applications.
