TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet the current and future needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to define development objectives and evolve existing applications and architecture as needed.
- Exercise best-in-class process control by designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end SDLC processes.
- Devise and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure that all systems are tested systematically to avoid deviation from specification.
- Coordinate development planning, including marking releases in code archives, preparing and testing installers, and ensuring all relevant stakeholders have access to new releases.
- Execute system deployment, ensuring sites are ready to receive new releases, establishing processes for reporting issues, and providing briefing and training for users.
- Drive flawless project execution by overseeing SDLC, ensuring adherence to project plans and development standards, and interfacing with internal and external technical resources.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on Schools Systems development methodologies, deliverables, and trends.
- Manage development budgets efficiently and effectively, building and monitoring development budgets closely, and outlining deviations promptly to cost centre owners.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years' experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering applications to end users.
- 7+ years' experience in managing a team that focuses on Salesforce implementation and configuration.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.
- Extensive skills in troubleshooting a wide range of technology-related systems using a range of technical skills and knowledge.
- Multi-tasking capable and highly flexible.
- Demonstrated record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader, and/or development manager.
- Experience in Scrum methodology and Agile practices.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in working with software vendors.
- Prior experience in Education a plus but not a pre-requisite.
- Strong logical and analytical thinker.
- Strong technical support documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
