Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A driver to join our team as a local 3rd shift driver. As a driver for Performance Foodservice, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes to deliver and unload products to customers
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
  • Report any safety hazards and complete required paperwork
  • Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license
  • 12 months commercial driving experience
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight
