We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at BlazerJobs. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a crucial role in helping students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) team.
- Collect and record data on student progress to inform and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with our BCBA team to develop and implement individualized goals for students.
- Provide direct one-on-one or small group instruction to support students in achieving their goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to improve student behavior and learning outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for our students.
- Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing training to stay up-to-date on best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred).
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with behavioral challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
