As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and support to our patients and customers.
We offer a comprehensive training program to ensure our pharmacy technicians have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. Our training program includes both classroom and on-the-job training, as well as ongoing education and support to help you advance your career.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our patients and customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and prescription data.
- Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
- PTCB certification preferred.
- Good math skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
