We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IS Technician to join our team at Clean Harbors in Charleston, SC. As an IS Technician, you will be responsible for performing tasks associated with hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment to clean surfaces and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment and peripherals, including industrial vacuuming.
- Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
- Conduct emergency response situations, including working on weekends and holidays, and may be required to work extended hours.
As an IS Technician, you will work in a warehouse, manufacturing, and construction environment, with regular overnight travel required for this position. You will be exposed to extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, and physical demands, including heavy lifting and working with large machinery.
Qualifications- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
