We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Automotive State Inspector to join our team at Team Car Care dba Jiffy Lube. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional preventive maintenance services to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable on the road.

• Perform state specified inspections on vehicles, evaluating all aspects of safety and emissions.
• Gather and input guest and maintenance information into our computer system.
• Review oil options, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, and previous services to provide expert advice to our customers.
• Communicate additional services requested to our team and gather new items/parts for installation/service.
• Review invoiced items with guests, accept payment for services, and inform them of value-added items.

• Valid certification to perform automotive state, safety, emissions, and/or smog inspections.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and teammates.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds.
