Job Summary

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial/Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our customers and employees.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure all store restrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, and high-traffic areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty and replace trash bags in all receptacles, and properly dispose of waste.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and making minor repairs as needed.
  • Outdoor Maintenance: Complete assigned outdoor cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping and cleaning sidewalks, parking lots, and other exterior areas.
  • Floor Care: Clean and sanitize all floors, including corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach areas.
  • Display and Equipment Maintenance: Clean and dust displays, tables, and other equipment as needed.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Identify and report any sanitation, safety, or maintenance issues to management, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist in training new employees, and work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
