Overview:
The Registered Nurse on the 6 North unit is entrusted with the vital role of evaluating patient and family health concerns and resources. This position involves taking a leadership stance in the formulation, execution, and assessment of the nursing care plan delivered by the nursing staff. The RN is responsible for delivering specialized nursing care and interventions to a specific patient demographic. In accordance with the Department's Scope of Practice, this role necessitates providing care to Medical-Surgical patients aged eighteen and older, ensuring an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individuals served. This position requires a commitment to the Mission of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, with an expectation that the associate will exhibit behaviors aligned with the Core Values. The associate is also expected to support the strategic objectives and goals outlined in the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Qualifications:
- Preferred: One year of nursing experience.
- Must possess a current Louisiana RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
