Position Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is actively seeking an Application Developer (DCO) to support a significant, mission-critical IT services program with round-the-clock operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop or adjust procedures to address intricate challenges while considering computer system capabilities and constraints, operational timing, and desired outcomes.
  • Engage in the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of software applications.
  • Exhibit proficiency at the highest technical level across all stages of application programming tasks.
Essential Qualifications
  • Possession of an active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 10 years, or a high school diploma with 12 years of experience.
  • Compliance with DoD 8140 DCWF 461 standards (B.S., CISSP-ISSEP, or GSNA).
  • ITIL v3 or higher certification required within 90 days of contract initiation or employment.
  • Familiarity with the operational and mission requirements of the U.S. Army.
  • Proven understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical needs, along with advanced knowledge of U.S. Army IT applications and network systems.
  • Expertise in complex information systems architectures that involve multiple disparate databases, networks, and communication subsystems.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Network Management, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, or a related discipline.
  • ITIL 4 Certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Army Unified Network Plans.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Application Development.
Work Environment
  • Standard office environment conditions.
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • May require non-traditional working hours, including consecutive nights or weekends as applicable.
