Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality guidance in both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Plan, oversee, and document patient recovery processes.
- Co-facilitate group or family therapy sessions as required.
- Ensure timely and clear documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Conduct initial and follow-up assessments.
- Assess patient needs and determine the necessity for referrals to additional programs or facilities.
- Plan aftercare for assigned patients as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention support to patients when necessary.
- Manage case responsibilities for patients, ensuring personalized quality care.
- Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients as required.
Compensation for this role varies based on several factors, including location, role, skill set, and experience level.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services preferred;
- Degree must be from an accredited institution;
- Prior experience in addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment environments is preferred.
- Certification or License preferred;
- Must be obtained from a California-approved Counselor Certification Organization (CAADE, CADTP, or CCAPP); or
- LMFT, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD.
