Job Summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Technician to join our Acute Care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients of all ages, under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed practical nurse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and oral care.
  • Assist with and accurately document activities of daily living (ADLs), such as feeding, hydration, and mobility.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate, and notify the RN of any abnormalities.
  • Perform Point of Care (POC) testing, such as urine pregnancy testing and urine dip testing, and notify the RN of results.
  • Assist with clerical and administrative tasks, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing or surgical technology program.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
