Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Attendant to join our Float Pool team. As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will be responsible for providing constant and direct observation of patients with suicidal ideation and/or at risk of harming themselves or others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one observation of patients with suicidal ideation
  • Assist assigned staff with patient care services such as toileting, ambulation, and feeding
  • Take vital signs as needed and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Transport patients as necessary
  • Document patient information and communicate effectively with patients and families

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Completion of a Nursing Assistant program or EMT training
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
