The role involves utilizing fundamental tools and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ inspection instruments and gauges to assess parts accurately.
- Adhere to production schedules by producing quality items.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment as necessary.
- Conduct First Piece Inspection to confirm setup quality.
- Document production metrics, categorize scrap parts by shift, and report downtime.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets.
Essential Skills:
Experience in production environments is crucial.
Qualifications:
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- A one-year certificate from a college or technical institution; or three to six months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience as a Forklift operator is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Manual dexterity to handle and manipulate objects.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Visual acuity, including depth perception and color vision.
