GIS Database Administrator

NV5 is seeking a skilled GIS Database Administrator/Systems Admin to join our team at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA. As a key member of our geospatial team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our GIS database systems, ensuring seamless integration with our web applications and meeting the requirements of the Air Force SDSFIE standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain Microsoft Server environments, including security patches and regular updates.
- Perform server maintenance, security patches, and reading scans.
- Work on web applications for the Robins GIS web viewer.
- Manage Oracle and SQL interface for user accounts.
- Manage ESRI/ArcGIS products and licensing, including ArcGIS Pro and License Manager.
- Work with ESRI/ArcGIS Portal application and creation of web apps in Portal.
- Edit or modify GIS data in ArcGIS software and perform QA/QC checks.
- Support all Geobase data requirements per Air Force SDSFIE standards.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, IT, computer science, or related field.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- 1 year of experience actively managing systems.
- QA/QC experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required to comply with government contracts.
- Security+ certified or ability to pass upon hire.
- Secret security clearance.
