Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental needs to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
- Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to support patient dignity and well-being.
- Develop and prioritize outcome-directed plans of care, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and modify the plan of care accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to adjust the plan of care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document care per documentation standards and maintain accurate records.
- Provide patient and family education to promote health and well-being.
- Serve as a mentor and preceptor for colleagues and other staff within the department.
- Must have an active Illinois RN license.
- Ability to follow instructions and record information accurately.
- Able to communicate effectively using written and verbal English.
- Good interpersonal skills.
