Outpatient Dietitian

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI.

This is a full-time salaried position providing medical nutrition therapy and education to patients with various conditions, including weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutrition assessments, develop diet plans, and provide education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs.
• Train and mentor patient services staff and interns.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.
• One year of outpatient clinical experience, preferred.
