Join our team as a QPA Manager 3 at IQPA-QSS/Institutional Quality Support Services. As a key member of our Institutional Quality and Performance Assurance (IQPA) Leadership Team, you will be responsible for managing the Deployed Quality team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide senior-level interface between IQPA and customers seeking deployed quality services.
- Coordinate successful quality assurance support of projects and programs to ensure their success.
- Manage the capabilities of the team to ensure maximum impact on the mission of LANL.
- Contribute to the overall integration of QSS with IQPA quality programs.
- Interpret requirements, contribute to strategic planning, and manage day-to-day operations of the team.
- High-level experience leading technical operations and demonstrating effective decision-making and creative problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability participating and/or leading the planning and managing of quality assurance in support of complex and/or high-hazard operations or programs.
- Experience with team building and collaboration to develop, implement, and manage innovative service delivery processes.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a DOE 'Q' Clearance, which typically requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Familiarity with the LANL mission and programs to include NQA-1 implementation and DOE 414.1D.
- Understanding of the DOE/NNSA mission and experience working with NNSA oversight personnel.
- Experience leading work activities that provide integration of one or more of the following: 10 CFR 830 Subpart A Quality Assurance Requirements, DOE Order 414.1D Quality Assurance, Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) Consensus Standard, or SD330.
- Experience as a line manager supervising staff and the planning and execution of developing and implementing staffing and budget plans in a deployed services environment.
- Experience with Lean/Agile frameworks.
