Job Title: Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is a key member of our accounting team, responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in managing cash flows and budgets to ensure effective financial planning and decision-making.
  • Calculate tax payments and returns to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
  • Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue to improve overall financial performance.
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the Director if necessary.
  • Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the Director in running audits.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Delegate financial responsibilities to the accounting team.
  • Work closely with other members of the Accounting department, CAD/CAM/Sales Team, and vendor representatives.
  • Assist with credit processes and support where needed.
  • Assist with General Accounts Receivable duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of working experience in an accounting field.
  • Preferred experience with Great Plains software and basic accounting, inventory, and customer service.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with customers, Company Sales Team, and internal departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Compensation:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year.
