Job Summary

SCP Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in a fast-paced, free-standing ED environment. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical direction and oversight to a team of advanced practice providers and nurses in a 24-hour, 17,000-annual-volume ED
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement strategies for improving patient flow and reducing length of stay
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital staff, including nursing, radiology, and laboratory services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines to ensure evidence-based practice

Requirements

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume ED environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
