Senior Tax Manager Opportunity at Marcum LLP

Marcum LLP is a leading national firm seeking a highly experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our Blue Bell, PA office. This role requires a seasoned Tax Services professional with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare high-level federal and state corporate returns
  • Review and prepare high-level federal and state partnership returns
  • Train and supervise staff, reviewing and evaluating their work
  • Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to staff management
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance departmental and engagement efficiencies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating knowledge of clients' businesses
  • Conduct research and draft memoranda on corporate tax issues
Requirements:
  • CPA certification
  • Masters degree in Taxation preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong supervisory and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, GoSystem, and Axcessa
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills
