Job Summary

The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a highly experienced Software Systems Engineer to take on the responsibility of hardware and software integration, infrastructure, and provisioning. The ideal candidate will apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all commitments are well defined, documented, reported, designed, provisioned, tested, and appropriately managed and deployed.
  • Develop custom modules/libraries for Robot framework to assist in test development.
  • Develop Bash or Python scripts to further automate and test in-house software packages.
  • Provide training to software and system engineering teams on in-house software testing packages.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas associated with the System Engineering Lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience - OR - A High School Diploma plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Experience working with agile software development workflows, such as sprints, and using Git for version control.
  • Experience using JIRA for issue tracking, customer requests, and sprint planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in the following toolsets: JIRA, Design, Integration and Analysis (DI&A) tool, SAISON, and Robot Framework.

Security Clearance:

  • Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.
