Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, as directed by the occupational therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient plans of care and ensure comprehensive care.
  • Plan for patient discharge, prepare discharge instructions, and communicate discharge plans with patients, family members, and caregivers.
  • Participate in in-service programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an Occupational Therapist Assistant education program from an accredited university/program.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Valid CPR certification.
