We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
Job Summary:This is a per diem RN position in our Labor and Delivery department. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients, including antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in unit-specific quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- NJ RN license required.
- 2-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Strong experience with IVs and medication administration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a per diem position, requiring every other weekend and one winter holiday per year. No block scheduling.
Unit Information:Our Labor and Delivery unit is equipped with the latest technology and features a team-oriented environment. We use AllScripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) and GE Centricity Fetal Surveillance and Documentation system for charting and documentation.
