Job Summary

RET Physical Therapy & Healthcare Specialists is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at our Auburn clinic. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing dietetic services to our patients and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to improve health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients and families to obtain a comprehensive diet history and exercise habits
  • Make referrals to other services as indicated, such as the Diabetes Educator, Social Services, or Food Assistance Programs
  • Counsel patients and families on medical nutrition and diet therapy principles and restrictions
  • Communicate with internal and external providers regarding patient plan of care and needs
  • Assist in projects to increase patient referrals as needed
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetics Registration/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Experience as an outpatient dietitian or registered dietitian in an acute care or long-term care facility preferred
  • Registered Dietitian Licensure in good standing
