Job Title: Provider and Credentialing Manager

Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (GRMC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Provider and Credentialing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our credentialing process.

Job Summary

The Provider and Credentialing Manager will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for physicians and advanced practice providers, including the acquisition and maintenance of licenses, certifications, liability insurance, and other necessary credentials. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including providers, payers, and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the credentialing process for physicians and advanced practice providers, including the submission of applications and supporting documentation to payers and other entities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Provide education and training to providers and office staff on credentialing requirements and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of credentialing processes.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of provider credentials and compliance status.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, or a related field).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on credentialing and clinical operations.
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing and clinical operations principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMRs).
