Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team at Simonton Windows & Doors. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for our windows.

Responsibilities:

* Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
* Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
* Operate hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to perform workstation functions
* Read and carry out simple written instructions, read work orders, labels, and schedules
* Use a tape measure to inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
* Make fraction and decimal conversions as needed
* Operate equipment needed to perform a job
* Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Requirements:

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Ability to lift heavy objects and work with hands
* Basic math skills and ability to make conversions
