Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Operating Room is responsible for providing direct patient care in the operating room setting. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and evaluating patient outcomes. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients pre-operatively and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • 2 years of experience in the operating room setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
