Scismic Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our Quality Control team in a key role that will support the continued growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Transfer and Validation: Direct all technical transfer projects within your area of responsibility, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established policies.
- Documentation and Training: Write, review, and perform assay work for transfers, validations, deviations, investigations, and facility support. Guide junior staff in these areas and ensure successful method post-transfer, including training and documentation.
- Customer and Project Management: Represent Scismic Inc in customer meetings, receiving and delivering information, requests, and requirements. Resolve technical and business decisions as needed.
- Performance Metrics and Leadership: Create metrics to measure throughput, performance, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Report to management and drive department goals. Identify and remove roadblocks for team members to complete their goals.
- Mentorship and Development: Develop the technical, GMP, and leadership skills of QC personnel through efficiencies and hands-on training opportunities. Act as a mentor to junior staff within the QC organization.
- Leadership and Management: If you have direct reports, complete performance reviews, hold routine 1:1 meetings, and ensure direct reports complete work on time.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
